Tom At The Farm by Michel Marc Bouchard | July 12 – August 3
Convergence-continuum continues its 2019 Season, Star-Crossed, with the Ohio premiere of the psychological thriller Tom at the Farm by Michel Marc Bouchard (translated by Linda Gaboriau).
Following the accidental death of his lover, and in the throes of his grief, urban ad executive Tom travels from the city to a remote farm for the funeral. There he finds a religious family who knows nothing of his existence, and is blindsided by his lost boyfriend’s legacy of untruth. The mother is expecting a girlfriend, and his partner’s brother, hell-bent on preserving a facade of normalcy, draws Tom into a brutal and twisted, sexually-charged game, coercing Tom into joining the duplicity until Tom, at last, confronts the torment that drove his lover to live in the shadows of deceit.
Tom at the Farm is directed by convergence-continuum’s Tom Kondilas. Members of the acting ensemble are Mike Frye, Daniel McElhaney, Laura Starnik and Madelyn Voltz.
